AEO tracking software that also fixes what it finds

Far & Wide asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode the questions your buyers ask, on a schedule, and shows where you are named, where a competitor is named instead, and what the answers get wrong about you.

What AEO tracking shows you

AEO (answer engine optimization) tracking is rank tracking for AI answers. Instead of a position on a results page, you get a rate: out of every answer an AI assistant gave to your buyers' questions, how many named you. Far & Wide cuts that rate five ways:

CutWhat you see
By platformHow often each AI platform names you: ChatGPT vs Gemini vs Google AI
By topicThe same rate for each of up to 5 topics
Against competitorsWho is named when you are not
Wrong factsThe exact wrong claim, and which platform makes it
Invisible questionsThe questions where no platform names you

How the tracking works

  • You pick 4 of 6 platforms: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Claude is not tracked.
  • 50 buyer questions, in one market and your buyers' language, grouped into up to 5 topics.
  • Up to 3 buyer personas. The same question is asked as a first-timer, a price-focused buyer or an expert, because the answer changes with who is asking.
  • Asked in the real apps, the ChatGPT interface people use, not a developer shortcut that answers differently. Why that matters.
  • You pick the rhythm: every 3 days with each question asked 3 times, or every 7 days with each asked 5 times for steadier numbers. That is up to 18,000 answers a month.

Why ask the same question more than once: AI assistants give different answers to the same question. One answer is a sample. Repeating it turns a yes-or-no into a rate you can follow from week to week.

What tracking looks like over time: a real example

Spaartje, a Dutch grocery price-comparison app, is our founders' own product and was tracked the same way. The same 50 questions, asked in July and again in September 2026:

Same 50 questions · share of answers that named Spaartje

ChatGPT app, July → September41% → 47%
Gemini app, July → September55% → 53%
An invented «Spaartje+» plan repeated by AIfixed

Tracking showed one platform moving and one not, and it caught a wrong fact that two outdated sentences on the site had caused. The whole story is in the Spaartje case study.

Tracking only, or tracking plus the fixes

Most AEO tools stop at the chart. Far & Wide has two plans that track the same way; the difference is who does the work after the numbers come in.

How it compares with other AEO tracking tools

Peec AI, Profound, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Semrush and SE Ranking all track AI answers too, and each is the better choice for some teams: many languages, a prompt database you did not write, or AI data inside the SEO suite you already pay for. We compare them, with prices and what each one does not do, in the best AEO tracking and monitoring tools in 2026.

Questions about AEO tracking

What is AEO tracking software?

AEO tracking software asks AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews the questions your buyers ask, on a fixed schedule, and records whether your brand is named, how it is described and which competitors are named instead. It is the AI-answer equivalent of rank tracking.

Which AI platforms does Far & Wide track?

You choose 4 of 6: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Questions are asked in the real apps people use, not through a developer shortcut. Claude is not tracked.

How often does it check, and why ask the same question more than once?

You pick the rhythm: every 3 days with each question asked 3 times, or every 7 days with each asked 5 times for steadier numbers. AI assistants give different answers to the same question, so one answer is a sample, not a result; repeating it turns mentions into a rate you can follow over time.

Does it track competitors?

Yes. Every answer is checked for the competitors you name as well as for you, so you see the questions where a competitor is named and you are not, per platform and per topic.

What is the difference between Monitor and Fix?

Both track the same 50 questions on the same 4 platforms. Monitor (€99/month + VAT) is the tracking, plus one try-out fix per agent each month. Fix (€299/month + VAT) adds four agents that draft and ship the technical, design, content and authority changes, each one approved by you and checked live afterwards.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Monthly Monitor and Fix start with a 7-day free trial: you add a card at the end of set-up, nothing is charged today, and the plan's price starts after 7 days unless you cancel before then. The Fix trial needs a website we can connect to; for other sites the trial is Monitor.
